Rachel Lachmansingh is a Guyanese-Canadian writer from Toronto. Her writing has been published widely. She was a finalist for the 2022 CBC Poetry Prize and longlisted for the 2022 CBC Short Story Prize. She holds a BA in creative writing from the University of Victoria and runs the YouTube channel for writers, "rachel writes."
