About this speaker
Kim Lozano is a developmental editor and writing coach who works with beginning and experienced writers on their books, short prose, and poetry. She has served as a senior editor at River Styx as well as serving as a mentor and workshop leader for the Women’s Fiction Writers Association. Kim has taught workshops for St. Louis Oasis, the St. Louis County Library, the St. Louis Writers Workshop, and also offers private classes in-person and online.
Kim has been nominated for a Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers’ Award and is a winner of the Kentucky Women Writers Conference Betty Gabehart Prize for Fiction. Her essays, short stories, and poetry have been published in The Iowa Review, Poetry Daily, Alaska Quarterly Review, North American Review, American Life in Poetry (chosen by U.S. Poet Laureate Ted Kooser), and many other journals and publications.
